The Korean Chosun Ilbo (quoting Areamobile.de) reports that Samsung is working with Adidas on what's dubbed as "Adidas phone".
Adidas phone can be nicknamed "Sports phone" - the phone will give you such workout-related information as calories consumed, hearbeats, etc. And the phone will play music in tune with the runner's step - which I guess would be similar to iPod+Nike.
So we've seen them all from the Korean phone makers - Prada phone, Bang & Olufsen phone, Armani phone (which is under dev now and was announced in a haste by Samsung after LG's Prada phone got popular - I can almost hear Samsung boss yelling "Hey, what's the closest competition to Prada? Go out and bring me the partnership with them in 2 days"), Betsy Johnson phone, Youtube phone, another Youtube phone, Google phone.
Who knows? Soon we might see Ikea phone (which will come in parts for you to assemble), Hummer phone (for beer-drinking rednecks), Prius phone (which will recharge the battery when you throw the phone up in the air with the kinetic energy), or LG phone from Samsung (that would actually mean the end of the world), whatever.
Overall, I think these brand partnerships are good. Though I also suspect the Korean manufacturers might be a bit too close to trying to find mojo only from the outside. They should give birth to their own versions of iPhone. LG Chocolate might be a great example for that.
