Hi Chang,
We have launched www.justmeans.comn - a new Social Networking platform that rallies both companies and individuals around social responsibility.
We have launched our Founding Member Companies and nonprofits(below) on the platform.
Being that you are focused on the next generation web innovations from Korea. I was wondering if you knew of a nonprofit/charity organization in Korea that would like a free 6-month profile on our site. Most of our companies are from the US and UK. It would show that our platform can help organizations anywhere and could make more an interesting story? thoughts?
Thanks,
Kevin Long, COO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 15, 2008
THE NEW “FACEBOOK” FOR SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
New website JustMeans creates founding committee for social change
Social media website JustMeans announced a founding committee to help companies use popular online social networking to communicate their socially responsible activities and agendas. Companies are following the trend of social media - Prospero's 2007 Social Media Survey found 30 percent of online marketers who use social media plan to spend significantly more on social-media applications in 2008.
The diverse committee will create profiles and post job openings, news releases, videos, podcasts and blogs. On JustMeans, companies communicate their "green" activities and network with other companies and individuals about social responsibility. JustMeans combines elements of Facebook and Craigslist but exclusively focuses on social responsibility.
JustMeans is responding to growing demands for help from companies to “engage their stakeholders” and interact with networks of people online. Jumpstart, a non-profit for children, likes the new leverage. According to president James Cleveland, “In the age of social networking, JustMeans allows us to link our current staff, donors, and partners to our company profile, so we can grow our network of prospective employees and supporters.”
Rae Heller, of Heller Communication Design, agrees. “JustMeans is a natural partner in what we are trying to accomplish with our own business – helping companies create sustainable strategies for Corporate Social Responsibility.”
The six month old JustMeans, founded by Martin Smith, former CEO of Startingbloc, and Kevin Long, former CEO of Global Deaf Connection, has offices in New York, London and Mumbai. On JustMeans companies post online profiles about their socially responsible activities. Individual users link to a company profile in order to receive company updates and become a “stakeholder” of that company.
The Founding Members who will share their social agenda and activities are:
Absolute Return for Kids, ACCION International, AccountAbility, Boston College Center for, Corporate Citizenship, C.E.O. Women, Central American Women's Fund, Dharmafly, Do Something, Equal Exchange, Family Justice, Global Deaf Connection, Heller Communications Design, Hip Investor, Institute for OneWorld Health, Jumpstart, KLD Research & Analytics, National Deaf Children's Society, New Philanthropy Capital, Seventh Generation, Sisterhood Agenda, Social Enterprise Coalition, Social Venture Network, Stand for Children, Student Hubs, Timberland, UnLtd, Upwardly Global, World Endeavors, WorldBlu

Hi,
Your blog is really informative. I have been looking for a blog that looks at the Korean and Japanese mobile market as I have been keeping a keen eye on the industry out there.
Keep it up.
