Nuke Test and the Korean Economy

Sorry, long time no post - have been off to holidays ("Chusok", or the Korean Thanksgiving).

Coming back from the holidays, the news that awaits me is the "nuke test" from North Korea.

This sucks in many ways, but particularly bad since it might have bad effects on the Korean (= South Korean) economy. Korean stock market plunged this morning, although it picked up a bit later.

It is reported Google is thinking about setting up an R&D center in Korea. Hope the nuke play of North Korea doesn't make Google (or any other companies) think twice.

Rest assured, folks: There will be no war in Korea. The country doesn't have oil.
