What especially burdens us the Koreans about the horrendous campus shooting at Virginia Tech is the fact that the shooter was originally from Korea, although he moved to the US at a very young age.
Being (presumably) one of not-so-many Korean natives who blog in English, I feel obliged to say that all Koreans share the deepest sorrow and are praying for the victims and their families. In the Daum Cafe, the country's most popular web board service, there are many "Cafes" (bulletin boards around a topic/issue) full of mournful articles and comments from tens of thousands of people.
On a side note, I wish the gun control in the US will be strengthened - I almost hear Michael Moore angrily saying "Hey, I told ya about this... and you didn't do anything about it."
